Ahh!......... but another season has come, been played and now is closing, and with the tradition of each year a player profile is rolled out for your consumption. But how to profile each player and define where their individual skills have come from you may ask?......... What better way than to consult the heavens and yes!........ rely on an age old method….…astrology, and of course Wikipaedia…….two reliable sources of information!!!
Here goes…….. and don’t blame me if the profile seems wrong ………..blame the stars and, parents’ choice of dates!!!

Michael Cardillo	Capricorn	‘hardworking and persevering’ -and certainly he was that this season, working hard, defending and persevering keeping the opposition from our goal

Daniel Chapman	Sagittarius	’straightforward and athletic’ -always straight forward to the front running, ready to strike on the opposition – a tip for future opposition don’t take your eye of him!

Scott Coleman	Aquarius	‘dependable and tolerant’ -the number of times Scott put it back up field when the opposition was raining made him Mr. Dependable.

Matthew Harvey	Pisces	‘easy going and enterprising’ -pushed up field to the forwards many a time frustrating opposition attacks. An easy going player that put in many an enterprising turn!

Dylan Lane	Capricorn	‘patient and hardworking’ -certainly set about being patient ready to pounce and running!- you made many on the side lines feel exhausted with him constantly chasing and putting the opposition under pressure.

Jarrod McCann	Taurus	‘solid, resourceful , dependable’ -new to Thirroul side this year certainly was dependable winning the ball and solidly taking the opposition with his pace and ball control.

Stuart McNair	Scorpio	‘intense and determined’ -had a great year and very determined against Warilla to make certain we got into the major semi and a great goal for his efforts

Jake Moore	Capricorn	‘hardworking and ambitious’ -started out the year out as a forward and causing the opposition concern, but late in the season ended up working hard in goals stepping into replace our usual goal keeper. Thanks Jake for staying for the major semi!
