This has been a wonderful team to coach & training has been a pleasure. The boys gelled as a team right from the start & this translated into some fantastic football & excellent results on the field. We made the Grand Final only to be beaten by a better team on the day.

Trevor Roberts did a fantastic job as manager, thank you Trevor. Thank you also to all the parents for your support throughout the year.

Tyson James in goals was an inspiration to the team, only bettered by his two goals when he got a run in the field against Unanderra. Alan & Sam were unbeatable in defence & contributed to us having the best defence in the competition. Simon Ward in the left back position was just magic all year. Declan & Josh Hallatt at right back made up the rest of an impenetrable defensive unit. Unfortunately one of our defensive mainstays of previous seasons Simon Roberts had a miserable season with injury & illness. He was sorely missed at times at the back. Joel & Matt played exceptionally well in the centre mid field, assisted at times by the talented & skilled Josh Claydon. Luke Harvey did a great job for us at left mid; Nick Shaw was a revelation at right mid, his crosses undid many defences. Upfront we had the terrific trio of Josh Barber, Jack & Nathan. It must have been so difficult to defend against these guys as most other teams found out. The one major dark spot on the season was a terrible injury to Blake Chapman; we all hope you are back again next year Blake.
