THIRROUL THUNDER NEWSRound 7 - Thunder TeamsThis week the photo section is focued on the Thunder Division One team, who although they drew 1 - 1 are still undefeated.First GradeLost 1 - 4Youth GradeThe long trip to Kiama brought us up against the undefeated front runners of the competition. Our boys took it way too easy from the start & we were down by 3 after about 20 minutes. We conceded some very soft goals in this period & didn’t look interested. Our play improved from this point & we seemed to decide that we were good enough to match it with this team. We pulled a goal back just before the break & I thought we were back in the game. Another goal just after half time & at 3-2 it was game on. At this stage we looked the better team & were dominating field position & possession. An unfortunate mix up at the back gifted them another goal & took away our momentum. We still finished all over them, but were unable to put away our chances. The lads should take heart from this game as we more than matched the competition leaders.First Division
