Round 8 - Thunder Teams

All the Thunder teams were back at home this week with mixed results. The District League had a cross-over round with visitors Warilla Wanders.

First Grade

Lost 1 - 3

Youth Grade

Won 3 - 0

Three straight losses & our season was on the line. Warilla are leading the other side of the competition with only one draw & no losses this year.  From the start our boys were outstanding. We did not allow the opposition any time on the ball & we were controlling the ball well. We had any number of chances but were up 1 zip at half time. The second half saw more of the same with two more from the Thunder hitting the old onion bag. We dominated from start to finish.

First Division

Drew 0 - 0

First Division's draw with Helensburgh maintained their unbeaten record. After 8 rounds they are equal competiton leaders, third on goal difference, unbeaten and have only conceded 1 goal so far.
