IWFA - Clubs and Grounds
The listing below is of Illawarra Women's Football Association participating clubs and their home grounds as at the end of the 2009 Season. Any changes for the 2010 season will be made when the information beomes available.
Grounds can often be closed for various reasons, most often due to wet weather, but sometimes for other reasons. To check on the status of grounds you can go to:
Wollongong City Council - for council controlled grounds from Helensburgh to Dapto and Port Kembla
Shellharbour Council ( Shellharbour City) and Kiama Council ( Kiama ) do not currently publish ground status information online, we will try to provide updates on these grounds as quickly as possible.
In addition radio station Wave FM broadcasts ground closure information, listen in after 7:00 AM on match day.
Dandaloo, Figtree, Keblawarra, South Coast United and University are club controlled grounds and each club will make its own decision as to whether a ground is playable. In the event of wet weather check with your coach or manager to see if matches are till on at these grounds.
