Volunteer Fund Raiser
Thunderbirds First Grader Ashley Howes will be travelling to Fiji as part of the Volunteer Eco Students Abroad Program during the offseason. She will participate in the program and complete essential volunteer work in a Fijian village. In the program she will work in conjunction with the villagers and the village chief in addressing the major issues the village faces. These include a lack of fresh running water, dilapidated schools and generally poor infrastructure. Your donation will help to facilitate the means for implementing these projects and repairs.
To help with the cost of participating in this program Ashley is conducting a fund raiser selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. 1 box of Krispy Kreme Doughnut’s costs $16.00 and you may order as many boxes as you like.
Orders need to be in by the 30th of July and you will receive your doughnuts on the 7th of August.
Doughnuts can be delivered to your residence or you can pick them up from Gibson Park after 12 noon on 7 August.
Please phone Ashley on 0412762044 to make an order.
