Thunderbirds 2009

There will be a meeting for all interested players at Thirroul Bowling Club on Saturday 15th November at 3pm.
All 2008 Thunderbirds Tier 1 and 2 players, new players and 2008 U18 Girls junior players are welcome to attend.
Pre season training begins on Tuesday 25th November at 630pm at Gibson Park and will be held once a week up until Christmas 08.

Welcome to the home page for the Thirroul Women's Teams. From here there are links to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Competitions details for the 2008 season, including draw, results and tables and the 2007 Archive.

Our Tier 2 played thier Semi-Final on Sunday and unfortunately were unsuccessful going down to Fernhill 4-0.
For those interested the draw for the Finals (effectively Grand Finals) is posted in the Finals Series page.

The IWFA elimination series commenced today with mixed results for the women's teams - Tier 1 lost to Fernhill 1 - 2 in extra time, while Tier 2 defeated Balgownie 2 - 0. The Tier 2 team will play Fernhill 2, in Semi-Final 3 next Sunday.

A successful "Ladies Day" to show support for the womens soccer and fund raise for the Breast Cancer Foundation was held on 22 June 2008 at 1.30pm. For the details go to the Ladies Day page.
