JUNIOR CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR: Under 13.1 team (Play At Home Challenge)

Thirroul JFC is a community and when COVID-19 hit at the start of the season there was a lot of confusion and members of the club were isolated. The Play At Home Challenge was aimed at keeping our junior players engaged and the Under 13.1 team were among those who embraced the concept, with many players submitting videos and the entire team compiling one. This helped encourage players in other teams to do the same and kept the content flowing until we were able to resume training and playing together. Thirroul JFC has recognised the efforts of the U13.1 players, coaches and manager by awarding the team the Junior Club Person of the Year award.
